How It Works
What is Aquaponics?
Aquaponics is a system of aquaculture in which fish and plants work together to sustain an ecosystem. The fish provide an organic food source for the plants above. In turn, the plants will naturally purify the water for the fish. Aquaponics requires no soil and only a small percentage of the water used in traditional farming. It creates an efficient and sustainable process for harvesting plants.
What is Hydroponics?
Hydroponics is another system we offer in which no fish or soil is required. It is a method of cultivating plants by growing them in water in nutrient-rich conditions. A perfectly balanced solution is added to the water to allow the plants to easily uptake its food, instead of through soil, where the roots much search for the nutrients and extract them. This makes the process of growing plants much faster and efficient compared to traditional farming.
